Director of Golf Robert Giusti, PGA 

     Robert (Bob) Giusti is the Director of Golf at Allendale Country Club. Bob enjoys teaching all golfers of all ability levels. His teaching influences are Dave Glenz, Chuck Cook, Mike McGetrick, Dr. James Suttie and Martin Hall. Bob was previously the Head Golf Professional at Whaling City, Halifax Country Club and the Back Nine Club. Bob’s junior program at BNC was something he was very proud of and hopes to establish at Allendale in the near future. It involved Monday junior clinics (over 50 juniors), PGA Jr. League (two U13 teams and one 17U team) and this year a PGA Camp.
     Bob also has an extensive playing career also took off around 1994 where he participated in the 1994 and 1998 PGA Tour CVS golf classics, and won the 2000, 2002, 2003 NEPGA Senior Championships. He qualified through the National PGA Senior Championship and played in the 2004 and 2006 Senior PGA Championships. Bob currently hold the Halifax course record of 61.   

Steven Vaughn – Head PGA Golf Professional

Steven (Steve) Vaughn is the Head PGA Golf Professional at Allendale Country Club.  He has been giving golf lessons for over 25 years and the foundation of his instruction is stupid simplicity, which is easy to understand and implement into his student’s game.  First off, he will check a students 3 pre-swing fundamentals which are grip, stance, and posture.  Then the individual instruction is tailored to what the student needs are based on the 9 dynamic ball flight laws.  He will set up conditions that cause change using demonstrations and/or swing aids.  He has been the Head PGA Golf Professional at Sagamore Spring Golf Club, Bellevue Golf Club, and Norton Country Club.  While at Sagamore Spring Golf Club he ran the Sagamore Learning Center for 21 years.  Steve is a Titleist staff professional focusing on the knowledge of the equipment, fitting the equipment, and also ball fitting.  He has completed all 3 levels of golf instruction teaching and testing through the PGA of America, one small part of obtaining his class “A” PGA card.  Steve has also attended various teaching seminars put on by the NEPGA over his two and a half decades being a golf professional.  He has given instruction to brand new golfers, club champions, juniors and everything in between regardless of age and gender.
